This song is basically my anthem today, except while Carrie is singing about love and relationships, I am "tailoring" her lyrics to motivate me on the dress I am working on. I tend to get to a certain point in the construction process where I just feel like giving up. I don't want to do that today. It is a beautiful, snowy, super bowl sunday and I plan on spending most of the day working on draping. Pictured is the basic form of my dress. I am pleased to say that part of the project is complete. Now comes the challenging/fun part. I am getting concerned about time constraints, seeing as I am scheduled to wear this dress on Saturday. I guess I will just have to "make it work." I know that I am going to make mistakes, I'm just going to have to play on!
