"Quando Quando Quando" Fergie

I love this song! I recently saw the movie Nine, and was so enchanted by the music, I couldn't wait a week before buying the CD. Among the four bonus tracks I found this rendition of "Quando Quando Quando," by Fergie with a little back up by Will.I.AM. I actually (and I partially blame red wine) found myself dancing around my living room the first time I heard it. I love the Black Eyed Peas family, they really have a unique sound and perspective on music. Anyways, moving on to the fashion. I have wanted to attempt to put together my own outfit using images I've found online; let me know how you think it plays out. With my big move to San Francisco on the horizon, and no job to yet pay the bills, I have of course been worrying more on what to wear to an interview, than getting the actual interview itself. Here I have put together an ensemble that I feel would be appropriate while still representing my own personal style. My vision started when I came across these fabulous pumps by Loeffler Randall on the site TenOverSix. These shoes are so beautiful; I didn't want any other part of the outfit to take away from them. I therefore searched for a simple, but classy pencil skirt, which I of course found from Banana Republic. I next wanted a "plain" white top to tuck into the skirt, that was business friendly but still interesting. This, at first glance, classic white button up, I found on Shopbop. The cool part, is that it buttons up the back as well, adding a creative detail as well as helping to define a woman's waist. Last but not least, of course, the jewelry. Since the most interesting part of the look has been the shoes, I thought it would be fun to add a chunky necklace. This one by Gerard Yosca I found on my new favorite jewelry site, Charm & Chain. So, when will this stylish but conservative outfit be mine? Probably only in my dreams, but hey, there is nothing wrong with dreaming, right?
